News Cafe Winter Warmer Race Day
Join us for the mid-winter madness as we hold a Winter Warming Race Day on Hobie Beach - 5th July, races start at 10am, entries open from 8am and prize giving directly after the event at News Cafe.
Season 5 launches 2nd October 2009
Started in January 2006, the Nelson Mandela Bay Ocean Racing Series is one of the largest beachfront events in Africa and is unique to Nelson Mandela Bay.
OPEN TO ALL, the Series offers an opportunity for open water swimmers, fun runners, walkers and ocean paddlers to come together on a fortnightly basis to take part in a world class fun event - the ORS has something for everyone.
Come join thousands of like minded participants during Season 5 which kicks off with a registration function on Friday 2nd October and runs on (mostly) alternate Sunday mornings from Sunday 4th October through to Sunday 11th April 2010.

Registration incentives
For a Series registration fee of just R150 you will have committed to join the greatest and most exciting fitness program of your life. Included in your registration pack (valued at over R300) will be an ORS gym bag, ORS T-shirt and a clothing item for your favourite discipline.
Entry Fee
A race day entry fee of only R50 ensures that you not only get to take part in a world class event with top class safety, but you will also receive a world leading Cytomax hydration drink from CytoSport in a Ready-to-Drink bottle (not your usual sports day warm diluted drink in a cup) and the opportunity to win a race medal and over R10,000 in lucky draw prizes.
