Our dream boy (02 November 2009)

Thank you so much for a wonderful race day yesterday! Although Siphesihle was very scared of the water, he was all smiles when he received his bike, not to mention the crocs!! We fitted them – and he did not want to take them off again!

We also managed to lower the seat and he can now reach the pedals. A real dream come true for Siphesihle!

RFAD Teenagers (19 October 2009)

Dear Michael & Sandy

Thank you so much for letting our boys take part in the 5 km fun run. They were very excited when I picked them up from hospital. Many of them were not dressed appropriately, despite Betty explaining to them what to wear. I am so proud of them, they all completed the race. Although we said they should walk , they ended up running the 5 km. The medals they received will be treasured forever!

News Cafe brought the Vibe (03 March 2009)

Wet, windy, but great fun sums up Race 10 last Sunday....

FIRSTLY apologies for the late publication of results, but Zports has had a computer crash and we've lost all our data so it's been manic trying to get up and running again.

Well done to all those that braved the conditions on Sunday. With over R15,000 in lucky draw prizes, the odds on winning rise nicely on bad weather days :-)

Frankie does it again! (09 February 2009)

Frank Greeff has thrown down the gauntlet ahead of the Redhouse River Mile in two weeks time with an impressive 2min win over pro-Ironmen athlete's Lawrence van Lingen and Raynard Tissink. The change to the 1km swim in preparation for the defence of his SPAR Redhouse River Mile in 4 weeks time didn't go according to plan as Lockett finished 3rd on Sunday, over a minute and a half off the pace.
